WOW...must catch up!

I have just been awful about keeping up my blog...seems we are always busy and it is simpler to send a quick picture on facebook or email than to do a more detailed update...but I am vowing to do a little better.
First....we are soon to be a family of five. Daughter #3 will be arriving around August 10, 2010. Complete shock of our lives, especially with the fertility difficulties we faced conceiving Kenna and Myla. This pregnancy has been very rough- lot of sickness which sadly continues still. I am so busy, I hardly have time to think about being pregnant. I will be interested to see this new little one and find out who she really is! We have not decided on a name- but, yes, it will be another M name...we sort of feel like it has to be, you know?
Mackenna Joy is now 5!! How that happened I do not know! She has started to read and knows so many sight words. Her preschool teachers said she shows a real talent in art and in acting and her lead teacher got teary eyed at our conference telling me how much she loved MJ. She loves attending preschool and has flourished. She is very ready for kindergarten...though I am not sure I am! She is and has always been a wonderful big sister. I am very blessed in that regard- she is so good to Myla and is always making sure her little sister is taken care of and happy. She is a great little helper too- today she fed Lucy and let her outside in the morning, made her bed, cleared the table after all the meals, and picked up the playroom. She is still so very emotional...I think we have decided that is just MJ. We will continue to work on shaping it, but somedays are better (or MUCH worse) than others!
Myla Eloise is now 18 months old and still easy and as sweet as pie. Praise the Lord for a child who just "goes with the flow." She finally started to walk at about 15 months and now is a CRAZY climber. She has no fear and monkey feet which is not the best combination! I am often asked her age when we are out because she will keep pace with Mackenna and try anything. We found out she has a peanut allergy so that has added a new layer to our lives and forced our hand at eating even more healthy, whole foods. Thankfully, other than her intial reaction, she has had no issues. She is quite the chatterbox- using full sentences. She never stops talking just like Mackenna so there are days my ears literally ring. She counts to 20, sings songs, knows her shapes, and is otherwise absolutely amazing as all toddlers are. I am hoping she continues to be a very easy child once her new sister arrives! She does ask to "see my baby sissy" before she goes to bed- but recently I think she has started thinking that my belly button is her sister! She is in for a rocky ride for a bit I think...but hopefully we will all manage!
My hope is to put a bunch of pictures on here in a few days. It is amazing how fast these little people grow and change!
