M&M update

Well Myla is now 12 weeks...hard to believe! She was diagnosed with silent reflux at 6 weeks. Sweet baby girl is not a crier, but boy did she look uncomfortable. Nights were hard for a bit as she would gasp, gag, and make choking sounds in her sleep. During the day she was constantly working to keep her food down and had a hard time relaxing her limbs. A few medications and some dose changes later, she is worlds better. She can finally play flat on her back, is back to my calm girl, and the icing on the cake is that she is sleeping wonderfully! She has slept through the night a few times already but usually sleeps4 from 8 or 9 until she wakes at 3 to nurse and then goes right back to sleep...I can't complain! Reflux aside, she is a very easy baby and I am so blessed. She is very easy to please and the only time she fusses is if she is tired or hungry. I worked a few weeks ago to get her to nap and sleep in her bassinet and she took to it like a pro. I am all for following her lead at this stage, but I love a routine and knowing what to expect. Mackenna thrives on a schedule/routine and it looks like Myla will be following suit. At her 2 month appointment she weighed in at 13 lbs. 9oz. and was 24 inches long. She is in the 90% for both height and weight, but so was Mackenna this age- my girls just chunk up very fast!
Kenna has been great with her and is a very loving big sister. Myla christened their first bath together by pooping in the tub so now she is on poop watch constantly if they bathe together. I can't believe in 2 short months she will be 4 years old. Mackenna was in a Christmas play at our church and was one of the little lambs. She even had her first line in a play saying, "He will lead us all."
