Our summer vacation

We were so happy to be asked to join our friends Chris and Robin and their two boys for a week at the Outer Banks in North Carolina. Chris and Robin were close companions when we lived in Roanoke, Virginia-and friends you can pick right up with where you left off (how great is that?!). I wish we lived closer as we really enjoy their company. The kids got along really well and Mackenna has asked (as recently as this morning) if she can go back to NC to see them.
