First science experiment

Nana had this great idea and Kenna loved it. This is one of those "grow in water" animals. Every day we measured the turtle to see how much he grew. Once he reached full size the plan was to keep him out of the water to see how fast he shrunk. Mackenna, however, didn't want him to get small so he continues to sit in water in a cooler a full month later! It was neat to teach Mackenna how to measure something. For a good while she liked to walk around with the measuring tape saying, "Whoa, you are 24 hours long."









She fought the mosquito and the mosquito won!


Can you believe such a small bug can cause that much swelling? Imagine my freak out session when she woke up like this?!?!?!
