Little love

Tonight I made a new chicken recipe. When I asked how it was, Bob tasted it and (joking of course) said, "Gross, what is this !?!?!"
Mackenna piped up and said, "It is just right, mom, it is just right."

And a funny. I wrapped Mackenna up in a towel after bath a few nights ago and she said, "I look just like Jesus's mommy."

I love this chid. Every morning I am excited to see her, and while I relish the break when she goes to bed, I can't resist checking on her before falling asleep. I have been making it a practise of telling her at night "I am so lucky to be your mom." One of the first nights I said it she looked at me and said, "I know." :)
