Our Florida Vacation
Kenna's first look at the ocean

Strolling with Great Grandma

Sunset on the beach

At 2 1/2, I know she won't have many, if any, memories of this vacation, but it was a wonderful time. Mackenna got to meet her great-grandparents again for only the second time in her life. Spending the week with them was a big highlight. The condo and the beach were a perfect set up.
And there is nothing like seeing Disney through the eyes of a toddler! We entered Magic Kingdom just as the opening show on the castle steps began. Kenna was memsmorized and I teared up watching her reaction as the princesses came out and danced with their price. She still talks about how Mickey Mouse told her that "Dreams come true." Everyone who knows Mackenna knows there is never a shortage of words when in her company. On the It's a Small World ride (my personal favorite) she was the quietest she has been in her life. She adored that ride! Since we have been home there have been a few occassions where she'll say, "Hey Mommy, I know! Let's talk about Florida." And we recount all the fun times we had that week, and what we plan to do on our next trip.
